Orion is one of the best-known constellation in both the northern and the southern hemisphere. It is particularly easy to spot and recognise. The constellation is named after Orion, a hunter in the Greek mythology. The brightest star is Rigel and Betelgeuse. It is also home to the Orion nebula (M42), one of the brightest and most beautiful nebula in the sky.
