Nebulae are interstellar clouds of dust, hydrogen, helium and other ionized gases. They’re truly beautiful and fascinating to capture.
Below you will find my best images of 2021 and 2022. All were taken either with my Skywatcher Evostar ED-80 or the Skywatcher ED-120. I used the Nikon D750 unmodified. For these shots of nebulae, I almost always used the Optolong L-extreme filter, a dual-band that passes H-alpha and O-iii emission lines.
